The Group was estblished in 1989 to bring together some preserved bus owners and local bus enthusiasts. The members comprise bus owners and supporters, some of who are actively involved in upkeep and restoration of vehicles, but most simply support the others' efforts by travelling to the bus rallies or other events around the country in the summer months.

The Group has a fond interest in the Bedford VAL coach (the only mass-produced twin-steer coach chassis). There are a few examples of this rare vehicle within our group, that regularly attend rallies around the country.

Over the years the group restored an Bedford VAL 70, WWY 115G. Now well cared by member, D Greatholder of Rugeley, this vehicle is superbly restored and attends rallies during the year.
